I will go ahead, hang my head, and admit this: I do not take a multi-vitamin. I know! It’s terrible! But I should start taking one, and so should you. Especially if you are over the age of 70, and have been diagnosed with Chronic Heart Failure. Patients who took multi-vitamins for nearly a year showed significant improvements, not only with their hearts’ abilities to pump, but also in breathlessness (it was reduced), how well they slept, and in their ability to concentrate.
I admit that even though I am healthy and I run, and I am only 36, I don’t seem to have much stamina. And just reading about this makes me think that something as simple as taking a multi-vitamin might really be just…what the doctor ordered…
